Introduction To Prince2
Prince2 is a project management methodology for the organization, management and control of projects. It comprises eight high level PROCESSES. These are:

—Directing a project
—Planning
—Starting up a project
—Initiating a project
—Controlling a stage
—Managing product delivery
—Managing stage boundaries
—Closing a project

These are denoted by acronyms, specifically: DP, PL, SU, IP, CS, MP, SB, CP.

Embracing these, a Prince2 project usually comprises four PHASES:
—Starting a project
—Initiating a project
—Implementation
—Closing a project.
